Dr. Yamilka Serrano and Dr. Juan E. Lopez-Rosario

Dr. Yamika Serrano, DMD
Dr. Serrano has been practicing general dentistry since 2004. Born in Puerto Rico, Dr. Serrano particularly enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She graduated from Lincoln Military Academy with highest honors. After graduation she attended the University of Puerto Rico where she was cum laude and received her Bachelors Degree in Biology. Dr. Serrano received her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 2004. Dr. Serrano and Dr. Lopez met during their time in dental school and got married in 2006. She completed her postdoctoral training at the James M. Rozanski Dental Residency Program at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in Utica, NY from 2004 to 2006.
Dr. Serrano dedicates much of her free time to her family. She has excelled at fitness competitions and enjoys health and nutrition. In her desire to expand her skills and knowledge, she has received continuing education credits in the following areas: Implants, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Pathology, Prosthetic and Periodontology.
Dr. Serrano is a member of the New York State Dental Association, The American Dental Association and the Fifth District Association.

Dr. Juan E. Lopez-Rosario, DMD
Dr. Lopez has been practicing dentistry on patients of all ages since 2004. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Lopez grew up in a very close knit family, and holds family values in the highest regards. He was very active in sports, and especially enjoyed playing baseball and bowling. Married in 2006 to Dr. Yamilka Serrano, the couple enjoy traveling, going to the movies, bowling, dining out, and playing basketball.
Dr. Lopez graduated from La Piedad High School. Attended the University of Puerto Rico where he was suma cum laude and received his Bachelors Degree in General Science. He received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 2004. Dr. Lopez completed his postdoctoral training at the James M. Rozanski Dental Residency Program at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in Utica, N.Y. from 2000-2006.
Dr. Lopez dedicates much of his free time to continuing education. In his desire to expand his skills and knowledge, he has received continuing education credits in the following area's; Implants, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Pathology, Prosthetic and Periodontology. As a part of his postdoctoral training at Faxton-St. Luke's, he has researched and composed lectures in Dental Trauma, Drug Addiction, Early Childhood Caries and Pregnancy in Oral Health. These lectures have now become a part of the curriculum for future residents.
Dr. Lopez is a member of the New York State Dental Association, The American Dental Association, the Fifth District Association and the New York State Oral Health Coalition.
